About Calorizer

Calorizer was born from a simple frustration: existing calorie tracking apps were either too complicated, too slow, or too cluttered with features nobody asked for.

Our Mission

We believe calorie tracking should feel as natural as writing in a notes app. No endless menus, no barcode scanning requirements, no social features you never wanted. Just type what you ate and move on with your day.

Why We Built Calorizer

Most calorie trackers try to do everything. They add meal plans, recipes, social feeds, coaching programs, and premium upsells at every turn. The result? An app that takes 2 minutes to log a banana.

Calorizer takes the opposite approach. We focus on doing one thing exceptionally well: helping you track what you eat quickly and accurately. Our food database is built on USDA-verified data, and our search is designed to find what you need in seconds.

Our Values

Simplicity First

Every feature must justify its existence. If it adds complexity without clear value, it doesn't ship.

Accuracy Matters

We use USDA-verified data and continuously improve our food database to give you reliable numbers.

Privacy by Default

Your food data is yours. We don't sell it, we don't share it, and we don't use it for ads.

No Dark Patterns

No guilt-tripping notifications, no streak anxiety, no manipulative upsells. Just a helpful tool.
